Andrew & Jolene

I would like to welcome Andrew & Jolene to our blog today. This couple got married at Chantercler Hotel in Botha’s Hill. I enjoyed this day thoroughly as it was filled with so much character and warmth from the guests and from this lovely couple… The weather on the day was difficult as it was always threatening to rain but never fully did.

When I arrived at the venue I was familiar with the surroundings so I went to the bride first. Jolene was a vision and so beautiful in that dress made by the talented Joslyn Kim Bridal Wear. The excitement was in the air and by the time I arrived at Andrew’s side the guys were just buzzing with nerves. Andrew seemed calm and collected. His suit was sitting perfectly on him. Tailor-made fit. I did recognize some of the groomsmen from previous weddings I did. The ceremony was intimate and was lit by candles. The ceremony was not short of a few tears shed amongst the crowd as the bride entered. I could even see Andrew’s eyes a bit wet from tears. At the creatie shoot the weather kept threatening and I pushed the photos until the rain started. The bridal retinue was easy to work with and we had lots of fun times. Jolene was like a natural model with Andrew. Both were very photogenic.

At the reception the entrance was just electric as the couple entered. The speeches were full of laughs and lots of memories were shared. We also remembered the ones we lost and the food was just delicious. We had the famous wedding march that involved everyone at the venue and I ended off the shoot with an impressive night shot.

I would like to thank Jolene and Andrew for entrusting their special day to us and wish them only success in their future together.
