Chad & Taryn

We would like to welcome Chad & Taryn to our blog today! We have been a bit quiet as we have been super busy re-organizing our business structure and admin systems. I wanted to publish this wedding as it is a special wedding to me. Taryn and Chad booked us from a previous wedding we did of their friends. When I hard it was been held at Eagle’s Cry I was excited as it is such a nice venue to shoot a wedding at. The morning was a bit cloudy and I was worried about the rain coming but the rain held back and created a soft lighting for me to work with. We started the shoot off with the groomsmen in one of the outside rooms. I played with the idea of pouring action shots with the whiskey and mainly had Chad get dressed outside of the rooms as the light and background was better and more rustic. After alot of laughs and joking around I moved onto Taryn and the beautiful entourage of Bridesmaids. The gowns were beautiful in the floral decorations and I had them sit outside in the garden for a quick Champagne shot. I used some texture to capture the adornments and perfume and had a successful bridal prep shoot with Taryn of which we finished off with a prayer before the ceremony.

At the ceremony everybody was waiting patiently and Chad’s face could not hold back all the emotions after seeing his bride for the first time. The Pastor did a great job in sharing a charismatic word for the congregation and he felt like a father figure to the couple. After the first kiss and congrats at the end of the ceremony I decided to start the creative at the abandoned tennis courts on top, which worked extremely well seeing the leaves were the same colours as the bridesmaids dresses and floral crowns! We went to the street afterwards to shoot next to the cane and the left for the pier with just the bridal couple. I am super pleased everything just worked so well. The decor inside the reception area was out of this world! Rose gold and reds worked so well together and Taryn’s cake was also a rose gold themed cake. The reception was charged with excitement and the speeches were all heartfelt and well rehearsed. I just want to thank you for choosing us as your service providers and wish you only success in your future together!

Taryn is my niece and a very special person in my life. She has been dreaming of this day ever since she met Chad years ago. Through it all they stuck together and really showed the world what true love is all about. The wedding was extremely romantic and captured them to the fullest. Chad was no doubt in awe with his bride and even shed a tear. I thank you Chad for making my niece complete and I can only ask you both to love and stick it through, despite the challenges life throws at you, you will overcome and your love will prevail. God has put you together for a reason. Dont ever forget that. I pray that you endure more and more special days to come…lotsa love always from the Billy’s.
