Roan & Melissa
We would like to welcome Roan and Melissa to our blog tonight! I got booked by Melissa through a referral of her relative of hers and a well known Durban photographer. This couple have a beautiful son named Zandre’ and they got married at Palm Dunes. The day started out great in regards to the weather and rain was nowhere to be seen. For the ceremony we had a beach wedding which was presented short and sweet with a powerful message. I could see chairs set out and reserved with photos of loved ones who could not make it due to their passing away. I saw balls been blown up to prepare for the gauntlet at the end of the ceremony and I saw umbrellas set out to protect the guests from the sun. After the first kiss everyone had their family photo taken along with a congrats on the deck and an ice cold refreshment on the upper deck. We all mingled and did our insta-booth photos and then I stole the bridal party away from more creative time on the beach. It was alot of fun and I worked with the couple as much as I could until the sun dimmed its light and we all went to the reception for some speeches and long awaited food… I just loved the DANCE sign on the dance floor and how the tables were all elevated in a theatre style hall. The speeches were very emotional and the time just flew by very fast. Before I knew what was happening I was packing my camera away and saying my goodbyes. I would just like to thank Melissa and Roan for allowing me to capture their perfect day and wish them only success together.
