Tim & Helen
I would like to welcome Tim and Helen to our blog today… They got married at the amazing Thorner Country Estate. There was a bit of rain on the day but we managed to overcome the wet and cold. The morning was filled with expectation when I arrived at the venue and I could see so much that I could use for my shoot but was overloaded with options. Hilton Greig did the service for us at the chapel and spoke about including God in our everyday affairs. For that will strengthen the bond of marriage. After the service ended we did the group photos and took as many umbrellas as we could find and headed for cover under the beautiful pine trees at the entrance to the venue. I was limited as to what I could use due to the rain but all went very well. After the creative I quickly took Tim and Helen to the rose bush I had seen and finished off near the reception area. The reception was nice and warm and had an amazing atmosphere with all the decor lit up by candlelight and fairy lights. The speeches were well rehearsed and the food was yum! The cake was special to Helen as her family had made the owls by hand. Near the end of all the formalities I took the bride and groom back into the drizzling rain for a few night shots. I would like to thank Tim and Helen for entrusting their day to me and I wish them only success in their future together!
