Zeh & Ayanda
I would like to welcome Zeh & Ayanda to our blog today! This couple met me over Skype with Zeh been in Poland and Ayanda been in Cape Town! What a power couple! Their love for each other has literally expanded over the seas.
This couple got married at Collisheen Estates at The Boma. The groom had gotten ready at Kingsley House in Ballito. The Bride prepared herself and the bridesmaids inside Zimbali Estate. There was alot of excitement in the air when we arrived and we could see the excitement on Zeh’s face as he was getting ready for the big day. At the ceremony 2 Anglican priests performed the ceremony with lots of laughter and jokes in between. When Ayanda walked down the aisle I could literally feel Zeh’s heart pounding with nerves! The colours of the bridesmaids dresses and the colour palette chosen for the bouquets was all dusty pinks, pale yellows and light greens. They went together perfectly well. The communion was served after the vows were taken and the spontaneity of the ululating and the screams of joy as they were pronounced husband and wife was exhilarating!
After the ceremony Zandra and I went to the Boma to shoot all the decor. Another big wow! You could see Ayanda spent time planning every detail of this day. At the creative we didn’t go too far for fear of the rain and played with the sugar cane and the open fields, in and around the venue.
The reception was always a big party with so many guests regarding Zeh and Ayanda in high honour of what type of people they are and the integrity they both have. We were spoiled with many spontaneous dances and singing and the many stories shared. We would like to thank Zeh and Ayanda for entrusting their special day to us and wish them only success in their endeavours together!
