About Conway Photo & Film

We are the Conway team: a core crew of four who specialise in wedding photography and film, supported by our trusted associate shooters. With more than 15 years of full-time experience and over 1,100 weddings captured, we have had the honour of documenting countless beautiful love stories across KwaZulu-Natal and South Africa.

As a father of two boys, I have learned what life’s moments really mean. My passion for light and storytelling keeps growing, and I would love to tell your love story through photography and film.

The Photographer

Wade Conway
Lead Photographer & Video Editor

Wade is “the boss”: lead photographer, album designer, video editor and the person who keeps all the admin running. His photography journey started in the most unexpected way. Tired of waiting in the car for his wife to finish shooting wedding ceremonies, he picked up a camera himself, and never looked back. More than 15 years later, he leads a team that has captured over 1,100 weddings. His honest, no-filter attitude makes him easy to work with, and couples quickly feel relaxed in front of his camera.

Videographer

Elsie is a high-energy go-getter who is always making us smile. Her energy is hard to miss, and her infectious personality can get any crowd going. The team simply wouldn’t be complete without her.

Jade Warren
Videographer

Jade is the best organiser in our group. She has picked up her craft at a remarkable rate, and her passion for the job is inspiring. You can also find her design work at @grapefox_graphics. We are lucky to have her on the team.

Michael Robberts
Videographer

Michael has grown in leaps and bounds since joining the team. He is a hard worker who is always willing to learn and expand his skills, and watching his passion grow is exciting for all of us. At weddings you have to be ready for literally anything, and we often throw our team into the deep end. Michael has proven himself over and over again, and it is an honour to have him with us.

Our Associate Shooters

Our associate photographers regularly lead their own Conway Photo & Film wedding teams, photographing weddings on our behalf from start to finish. They also join the rest of the team on weddings where an extra photographer is needed.
