Scottish-Themed Wedding at Netherwood: Stuart & Kelsey

Oh man, where do I start with this amazing wedding? We photographed Kelsey and Stuart’s engagement session almost a year ago, and I have been so excited for their big day ever since. One, because how gorgeous are they? But also because the love and bond between Stuart and Kelsey is just undeniable. I also can’t deny that Netherwood is on my list of top favourite venues!

Getting Ready with a Scottish Theme

While Kayla photographed the boys, who kept her hands nice and full, I headed to Kelsey, where there was so much excitement and emotion in the air. Kelsey looked so beautiful, and she couldn’t wait to get to her man, who looked ever so handsome in his Scottish attire. As both sides of the family are from Scotland, the Scottish theme ran strong throughout the day.

Bagpipes and an Emotional Ceremony

The ceremony started with an emotional bagpipe performance, and Stuart’s reaction to his bride was too precious. He couldn’t keep his eyes off Kelsey. It was an emotionally charged ceremony, with many happy tears and a room full of people celebrating their union.

We then headed off for the creative shoot. The weather changed so quickly, but it helped us create that real Scottish-fields look.

The Biggest Dance Party

After an amazing creative shoot, we headed to the reception, where there was plenty of celebrating, an amazing first dance and probably the biggest dance party I have ever seen!

Stuart and Kelsey, thank you for letting me be part of your day! You guys were awesome.
