Conway Photo & Film is a team of wedding photographers and filmmakers based in KwaZulu-Natal. With over 15 years of full-time experience and more than 1,100 weddings captured, we photograph weddings across Durban, Ballito, Umhlanga, the KZN Midlands and Johannesburg, and travel throughout South Africa.

Our Approach

Natural Light

We shoot with available natural light wherever possible, reading the venue, the time of day and the weather to create images that are warm, authentic and timeless. From golden-hour portraits on a Midlands farm to bright coastal light in Ballito, natural light is at the core of everything we do.

Documentary, With Gentle Direction

We guide you through beautifully composed portraits and the key moments of the day, then step back so the real emotion can unfold naturally. The result is a gallery that feels cohesive and intentional, while staying completely true to who you are as a couple.

Coverage of up to 7 or 10 hours, from preparations to the dance floor
One or two professional photographers, depending on your package
Ceremony, family and group photos, a creative couple shoot and reception formalities
500 to 800+ edited images, with black-and-white edits on our Classic and Signature packages
An engagement session and a coffee table album on our Classic and Signature packages
A private online gallery for download, delivered within 4 to 6 weeks

Cultural and Multi-Day Weddings

Durban is home to one of the largest Indian communities in South Africa, and we have extensive experience photographing Hindu, Tamil, Telugu and Muslim weddings across KZN. We brief ourselves on the ceremonies and key moments before the day, so every tradition is captured with respect. Multi-day packages for Mendhi, Pithi, Haldi and the wedding day are available on request.

Engagement Shoots

An engagement session is the best way to get comfortable in front of our camera before the wedding. We shoot beach sessions in Umhlanga and Ballito, golden-hour farm shoots in the Midlands and urban sessions in Durban. See our engagement shoots.
