Lennard & Eileen
We would like to welcome Eileen & Lennard to our blog this morning. Eileen and Lennard got married at Brahman Hills in Nottingham Rd. The morning started with us shooting at the beautiful Chapel overlooking a man-made lake. All the preparations inside was very elegant. The reception was setup inside the Barn venue nearest to their Salon. The guys were getting ready at one of the cottages nearby and we moved onto the groom to get some of the guys in their tailor-made suits. They looked so sophisticated and well groomed and were a pleasure to work with. After we finished with the groomsmen we headed off to Eileen and her family who were on the opposite side of the valley. There was so much excitement in the air as we arrived, with everyone attending to their attire. Eileen looked very relaxed as she was having her makeup done. Eileen’s dress was extravagant with so much detail! The rooms in the cottage stayed true to it’s originality and gave us alot of textures to work with. The girls were a great team to work with and we had lots of fun with the first shoot.
The ceremony went according to plan and as Eileen walked down the aisle, Lennard just could not hold back his tears anymore. He was overwhelmed with joy as he saw Eileen making her way to the front with her Mom and Dad by her side. The Pastor gave a great sermon and kept the service short so that there was enough time for Eileen and Lennard to share their vows to each other. After the signing of the register and the first kiss the sun came out for a great exit with showers of petals and laughter. We took the couple to a field close by, and everyone in the retinue did a great job in taking direction from us. As soon as we had finished with the bridal couple a mist started covering the mountain side and we all got into the barn for some refreshments. The Reception was so beautifully done with the Schunemann’s surname cut out behind the couple. I would like to thank Eileen and Lennard for allowing us to be part of such a great day in their lives!
