Thorner Country Estate Wedding: Brendan & Laura

Everything about this day was simply perfect: the weather, the light, the pink hair and even the moon! Brendan and Laura’s wedding at Thorner Country Estate was the kind of wedding that reminds me why I love my job so much.

Bridal Prep and Pink Hair

Kayla, my right-hand girl, photographed the boys getting ready, while I headed to Laura and her girls. I immediately got excited when I saw her pink hair, because, well, PINK HAIR!

Her beautiful dress was made by McCarthy Wolff, and it looked exquisite on her. Laura is a very talented makeup artist, so naturally she did her own makeup.

An Emotional Entrance

We then headed to the ceremony for a very special entrance, and Brendan just couldn’t hold back his emotions. He was in awe of his wife-to-be.

Afterwards, we headed to the bar area, where the guests enjoyed some amazing food while a local band serenaded them.

Moonlit Portraits

Then it was time for the creative shoot, with lots of laughs, shooters, kisses and beautiful light, ending with the perfect moon.

A Reception Full of Laughter and Glitter

The night ended with a reception full of cheeky jokes, amazing food from the Fudart Bus and the most romantic first dance I’ve ever seen. Guests were also entertained by Hooray Weddings glitter boxes, which is where all the shiny faces came from!
