Outdoor Ceremonies

Ceremonies at Shongweni Club can be held outside, which gives us natural light and space to move. It is a great setting for those first reactions, like Brandon, who could not keep his eyes off Shannon as she walked down the aisle.

Portraits in the Kloof Gorge

One of the big advantages of Shongweni Club is how close it is to the Kloof gorge and Krantzkloof Nature Reserve. The gorge is always such a beautiful spot for couple portraits, and Krantzkloof has also hosted the ceremony for couples who then celebrate at the club. Build in travel time for the short drive, and you get two very different backdrops in one day.

The Reception

The receptions we have photographed here have been full of personality: cars and wheelies, trumpet solos from a proud dad, smoke grenades and a dance floor that does not quit. The club is easy to style, and couples have brought in their own décor teams to make it their own.
